LOCS

Literacy Ontario Central South is regional literacy network that helps facilitate the communication and partnerships between Literacy and Basic Skills programs in the Counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton, Renfrew and Victoria.

Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU)

The provincial ministry that funds Literacy and Basic Skills Programs in Ontario. Their site includes links to additional programs.

Alphaplus

AlphaPlus actively supports research, and promotes best practices in adult basic education for practitioners and programs that work with adult learners in the Deaf, Aboriginal, Francophone and Anglophone communities through technology, research and designing learning resources.

National Adult Literacy Database (NALD)

NALD hosts web pages for literacy programs across Canada and hosts research and resources useful to anyone interested in or working in the literacy field.

Movement for Canadian Literacy (MCL)

MCL is a national non-profit organization representing literacy coalitions, organizations and individuals from every province and territory.

ABC Canada Literacy Foundation is a national registered charitable organization committed to promoting literacy to the general public and to the private sector.
