As an accredited nonprofit organization devoted to adult literacy and basic skills, the Trent Valley Literacy Association relies on donations to operate effectively.

Thanks to your help, we offer the following:

• Resources and a meeting place for students and tutors at 139 Douro Street
• Tutor training, so that adults can help their peers improve literacy and basic skills.
• Staff to supervise volunteers, organize programming and keep everything working.
• A computer lab with high speed internet access for the entire community.
• Basic computer classes that are also open to the Peterborough community at large.
• Much, much more.
