As mentioned in our last newsletter, TVLA’s last day of 2011 will be Friday, December 23rd. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012. If we don’t see you this week, we’ll see you then!
TVLA’s Annual General Meeting will take place at TVLA’s offices on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:00 PM.
Students, tutors and friends of The Trent Valley Literacy Association are invited to attend.

A draft of TVLA’s revised Bylaw was posted for review by the TVLA community on June 9th, 2010. This draft was ratified and adopted as TVLA’s new Bylaw at TVLA’s Annual General Meeting on June 16th, 2010. It has been removed from this to avoid confusion. To make a last minute correction to yesterday’s post the AGM will now start at 7:00 PM. It’s still at the Literacy Centre at 139 Douro Street.

Agenda
The annual general meeting covers a wide range of topics including programs and funding. We also honour members of our board who are moving on to other things, and elect new board members from a slate of candidates.
